One suggested that switching to linux-lts fixed their issue, but at this point, being new to Arch and all, I'm a bit hesitant to switch out my kernel version and reinstall necessary kernel modules. I have looked into other similar issues, but the ones I've looked at take place with a 4.6 kernel or earlier, along with Virtualbox 5.0, and usually provide the option of waiting for Virtualbox 5.1. I am a newer Arch user, having installed it about a week and a half ago. (At times, using a USB controller with the VM) (Machine files stored on a secondary drive formatted to ext4) Every time it happens I have to do a hard restart. Sometimes it's a full panic and other times just a freeze that goes on indefinitely. After a couple minutes of running my VM, the screen freezes, rendering me unable to type or use the mouse. The kernel panic is on my host machine, just to clarify.
